Prohibition

While Prohibition-era cocktails are enjoyed, a lively jazz band— complete with stand-up bassist and spiffy-clad gents— entertains a crowd at a charming speakeasy during yesteryear’s famous era of criminality and allure. This perfectly captures vintage intricate patterns of pre-1930 fashion and tradition. We see also the blinds drawn sure to keep prying eyes from the secretive Prohibition enterprise where the speakeasy exists. The occupants were among those who appreciated the finer things in life, even when they were illegal to imbibe openly in society until Repeal Day in 1933. The hanging functional direct lighting design is simple yet effective.
