Predators

Wolves stalking prey in forests of the northern tundra. One stands alertly, nose pointed towards scent of prey, as if ready to pounce. The other lies belly down on grassy ground, ears perked. Both have dense gray fur, clear intent and focus etched on their features. Trees, possibly pines, rise in the distance. An atmospheric scene of wild wolves in their natural home.
Northern Wolves on the Tundra :: Fine Art
This comic-style illustration depicts an Oviraptor standing proudly over a nest of eggs, fiercely protecting them from potential predators. The dinosaur is rendered in a cartoony, exaggerated style, with a long neck, a visual scan of a long tail, a large, rounded head, and large, round eyes. Its beak is slightly open, showing sharp teeth. Bubbles in the water surrounding its feet indicate movement on the dinosaur's part, heightening the sense of realism. The image itself is extremely simple, focusing heavily on conveying the Oviraptor's imperative defense of its offspring. The use of straight forward, line art and omission of text convey the the graphic's primary intended function of visually communicating the protective nature of parent Oviraptors.
